Currently, 472 students are enrolled PreK through Grade 12, in Early Childhood (PreKindergarten 3; Junior Kindergarten 4 and Kindergarten), Lower School (1-5), Middle School (6-8) and Upper School (9-12).

Q: What does Wardlaw+Hartridge look for in candidates for admission?

Wardlaw+Hartridge values candidates who will thrive in curriculum designed for their age. Early childhood applicants will grow with our hands-on experiential learning. Candidates applying to our Lower, Middle, and Upper School should have a strong desire to achieve in the classroom and be committed to learning and developing their extracurricular interests and activities. Q: When should I apply to The Wardlaw+Hartridge School?

Applications for our priority deadline will be accepted from October 1 through February 1. After February 1, we move into rolling admission and will review applications depending upon the space availability in the grade.

Q: Do you accept international students?

Yes. We have enrolled students from Japan, China, Korea, Ghana, India and continue to grow our international program. To learn more visit the international student page.

Q: What is the tuition for The Wardlaw+Hartridge School?

Q: What kind of before and extended day care do you offer?

Before and Aftercare for PreK(3), JK (4) and K is included in tuition. Parents may drop off their children in the library starting at 7:30 a.m. The students will be supervised and then escorted to their classrooms at 8 a.m. There is no charge for this early drop off.

EXPLORERS is a daily after school enrichment program for children in PreK(3), Junior Kindergarten(4) and Kindergarten is available from 3-5 p.m. and takes place in the Early Childhood classrooms. 

ENCORE is our after-school program available for students in grades 1 through 8. It is a safe and supervised environment for students to work on homework, enjoy a snack, participate in enrichment programs, socialize and play with friends, and much more. ENCORE is available from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. The charge for ENCORE is $5 per half-hour or any part of the half-hour. 

Both EXPLORERS and ENCORE can be used as needed. Please be sure to inform your child's teacher on the days they will attend.
