Lower School STEM Lab
With the expansion of hands-on active learning, the need to upgrade our science facilities and equipment for our students is compelling. Our renovated spaces in the Lower and Middle Schools will provide our students with opportunities to develop their talents across a spectrum of science fields. For our youngest future scientists, upgrades to the Lower School STEM Lab includes small infrastructure improvements, additional storage stations, and improved lab equipment.
Two new tote trays and shelving storage cabinets will not only improve storage, but will allow our faculty to prepare materials for experiments with ease and efficiency. This storage unit is an ideal place to keep projects and larger objects and a perfect addition to the science room.
The infrastructural upgrades include a new sink and full length countertops providing enhanced space for experiments. The Wall Sink Center will meet cleanup needs more effectively. With ample countertop space and additional storage, there is room to complete the cleaning process in one place. Multiple students can work simultaneously using the two sink fixtures. The large and improved sinks are ideal for cleanup of any material.
