Track & Field - Girls' Middle School
The Middle School Girls' Track team successfully introduces many students to a new sport, while competing successfully among both the GMC and our peer independent schools. Training 3-4 days per week and competing one day per week (as a rule) the coaches are able to help our athletes achieve great improvement over the course of the season. We strive to use our students' talents well, so we can compete effectively in sprints, hurdles, and middle distance races, as well as the throwing and jumping events. Track and field allows athletes with many different skill-sets to be successful, if they train hard, and master the technique required by their event.
