Every year, the W+H Parents’ Association purchases personalized lawn signs for each senior. In a typical year PA volunteers assemble the signs and place them along the driveway leading into school. Seniors are encouraged to take them home to place in their own yard.
In order to preserve this tradition for the Class of 2020, the Upper School faculty and staff took on the task of personally delivering the signs to each and every senior’s home. This labor of love was truly a team effort with 12th grade deans Justine Borzumato and Pat Fielder handling logistics and assembling the signs. Deliveries were made by Andy Webster, Bob Bowman, Russ Althouse, Nicole Nolan and Richie Fulco over the weekend.
The signs created for international students who have gone home stand proudly in the W+H driveway and photos will be sent to them. The WHPA is very appreciative of all who helped make this happen and remains committed to continuing to support all efforts that ensure our seniors are given a proper sendoff during these extraordinary times. Congratulations, Class of 2020, you are loved!
