The Wardlaw+Hartridge School recognized its three retiring faculty and staff members at a luncheon on June 9 in the AP Room.
Nancy Duddy (Middle School history teacher), Seth Austin (Director of Finance and Facilities) and Susan R. Swenson (Director of College Counseling) celebrated their upcoming retirement with colleagues and friends.
The event began with a welcome by Andrew Webster, Head of School, and continued with colleagues speaking on behalf of the retirees. Middle School teacher Noreen Jafri shared memories of Nancy Duddy, Business Office colleagues Marian Tumolo and Judy Orak spoke about Seth Austin, and Dawn Francavilla, Director of Student Life, offered remarks about Susan Swenson.
Mr. Webster made a toast to the retirees and invited them to come back and visit anytime. After enjoying a luncheon catered by Sage Dining Services, the retirees visited the front courtyard for photo opportunities with the new bricks that were dedicated in their honor.
