Jean Castellano joined W+H in 2019 as an Upper School History teacher. Mrs. Castellano earned her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and her Master's in Education in Teaching and Learning History from Liberty University. Before joining Wardlaw+Hartridge, Mrs. Castellano served in the US Marine Corps Reserves for five years and then moved into teaching at Hoke County High School in North Carolina and Saint Basil Academy in Jenkintown, PA. She currently teaches Modern World History to the 10th grade and an elective entitled Introduction to World Religions and serves as a student advisor. Mrs. Castellano believes her role is not only to teach history, but to help facilitate an environment in her classroom where students want to learn and reach their highest potential.
