Health & Wellness
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School is focused on supporting the health and wellness of each of our students, faculty, staff and families. The health and wellness of our students in all grades is important to academic, social and emotional development, thus Early Childhood, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School students are provided with services, programs, resources, and staff, specifically dedicated to physical, social and emotional care.
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School recognizes the importance of holistic health and wellness for its students, faculty and staff, and families. Our School Nurse and School Counselors work together with faculty and staff to provide quality, comprehensive care for our students. Throughout their years at Wardlaw+Hartridge, students have classes, activities and courses designed to support the physical or social-emotional growth at particular times in their development. Research shows a strong connection between healthy behaviors in students and academic achievement. The overall well-being of a student is found to have a direct correlation with academic success.
