Winter Sports are in action at W+H this trimester

The W+H basketball and cheer teams began practice last month with Middle School basketball players working out first, followed by Upper School athletes taking the courts afterward. Cheer teams in both divisions conducted their practice sessions on the stage in the Berry Performing Arts Center. Practices are spaced out and students are masked throughout.

Middle School swimmers are beginning practice as well, while the Upper School swimmers and track athletes will start this month. Upper School teams will compete against other schools, while Middle School sports will be intramural during the winter season.

W+H Young Alumni Share Experiences with Current Parents

Five Wardlaw+Hartridge graduates from the Class of 2020 participated in a virtual panel discussion with W+H Parents' Association. The alumni answered questions about the college application process and their transition from W+H to their colleges and universities.

"One of the things Wardlaw+Hartridge does so well with its small class sizes is that it allows you to know everybody in the class," said a recent alum. "You can still get that sense of community on a college campus. It's a lot bigger, but you can get involved in clubs and small associations, depending on the campus you go to."
