Golf
Ram golfers have had significant success over the years in the Greater Middlesex Conference and the NJ Independent School Athletic Association. For most of the program’s history, Ram golfers were mostly male, winning many GMC and Prep championships in Boys’ Golf. Since girls are allowed to compete in boys’ golf, several W+H female golfers have contributed mightily to those recent triumphs.
The recent enrollment of several strong female golfers will allow the Rams to begin play in the GMC Girls’ Red Division, beginning in spring of 2021, while still creating opportunities for male golfers to improve their game and compete.
The Rams are fortunate to be able to play several home matches each year at neighboring Plainfield Country Club, a Donald Ross design ranked as the 4th greatest course in New Jersey (50th in the United States). Other home matches are usually played at Union County courses Ashbrook and Galloping Hills.
