Arts
PERFORMING & VISUAL ARTS
Wardlaw+Hartridge offers a robust Performing Arts program including general music, band, choir, theatrical plays and musicals, private music lessons and dance. In the Visual Arts, our students work with skilled, experienced faculty members in dedicated art spaces to develop their talents and explore their creativity.

Girls' Volleyball

Volleyball

The Rams girls’ volleyball program is one focused on hard work and perseverance. They compete at the JV and varsity level of the Greater Middlesex Conference's Blue Division.

Under the direction of first year Varsity Head Coach, Raquel Belo, the Rams will be challenged everyday to become stronger and more confident competitors. The coaching staff will empower them with every tool necessary to face the challenges at hand.

Coach Belo's philosophy starts with the everyday mastering of fundamental skill development. A focus on clean passes and intelligent positioning is always emphasized.

Volleyball has become more popular at W+H in recent years and is one the few team sports at Wardlaw-Hartridge that can field full JV and Varsity squads.

Coach Belo
HEAD COACH
Raquel Belo

Raquel Belo was named Wardlaw-Hartridge Varsity Volleyball Head Coach on August 2, 2022 after spending the last six seasons as the Rams' JV Head Coach. Coach Belo's commitment to the sport of volleyball was evident during her High School years. While she was a student at Harrison High School, she started the Blue Tide's Girls' Volleyball team. She has continues play competitively as an adult, participating with several adult club teams and attending clinics whenever she can.

She has been a league administer for the Woodbridge Volleyball League. She has coached the 14s club at East Coast Power in Pennsylvania, and currently coaches a club team at Core Volleyball NJ.

After several years in the work force, Raquel earned an Associate’s degree in Accounting at Berkley College, then continued her studies at Kean University, completing her BA degree in Spanish in 2012.
