PCR Portal Information

Dear W+H Parents and Guardians,

As we get ready for the new school year, we require that you update both your household and emergency contact information in PCR. It is very important that we have current, accurate information. Please login to your ParentPortal and click on "Family". Complete all contact information and then click "Save" All W+H families must complete the following:

Household Information: Make sure your name, address, phone number and email are correct. This information will be used for our school directory. Please check the box if you do not wish your email address to be included in our school's directory and update your employer information.
Emergency information: At least one alternative emergency contact. besides the parent, is required.
School Closing: W+H will be utilizing PCR for all school closing notifications, so it is imperative that your phone numbers and email addresses are correct.

School news and student achievements are regularly announced in the school’s weekly electronic newsletter (WHEN), and may also appear in other publications such as the Oak & Ivy alumni/ae magazine, the Beacon student newspaper, teacher classroom pages and administrator blogs. Press releases covering student achievements and school events typically include student names, class years and hometowns.

Parent Partnership Conferences

Lower School Parent Partnership Conferences will be scheduled on Wednesday, September 2 or Thursday, September 3, from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. both days. Your Parent Partnership Conference invitation will be sent out to families in August. 6th Grade Vaccine Requirements

Additional State Immunization Laws are in effect for students entering grade 6. For students entering or attending grade 6 on or after September 1:

A. Required to receive one dose of Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis) given no earlier than the child's 10th birthday (unless the Td booster was given within the past 5 years)

B. Required to receive a Meningococcal-containing vaccine such as the preferred meningococcal conjugate vaccine. (MCV4) after 11th birthday.

Parents are to consult their pediatrician about meeting these immunization requirements for before September 1 of the ear entering 6th grade. Parents need to provide a new, updated immunization record to the school nurse reflecting these vaccines have been administered.
