
Dalal Entrepreneurship and Technology Program

The Dalal Entrepreneurship and Technology Program includes a slate of sequential Upper School courses and related curricular enhancements in Lower and Middle School that expand students’ creative problem solving, critical thinking, logical reasoning, business acumen and technological skill sets which can be used to solve real-world challenges.
Students with a minimum GPA of 93 are eligible to apply for this program at the end of ninth grade. Upon successful completion of the DETP, students will earn an endorsement on their Wardlaw+Hartridge diploma.

The program also includes faculty development and The Dalal Family Speaker Series that features business professionals and scientists from around the country meeting with W+H students annually on campus.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
*All 9th graders attend a mandatory spring meeting to learn about the program.
*In April of 9th grade, students make formal application, which includes a short essay describing the value of being a DETP Scholar.
*Minimum overall GPA of 93 at end of 9th grade.
*Interview with a faculty panel to assess readiness for the rigor and independence of the DETP.
We are living in the era of rapid technological advancement. We believe that fostering the culture of technology innovation and entrepreneurship in the high school years can unlock the potential of young minds and empower them to drive meaningful changes.
