W+H Students Named National Merit Commended Students

The College Counseling Office at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School announced that two seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship program. Congratulations to Faizah Naqvi ’22 and Shiv Tickoo ’22. A Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation will be presented to these scholastically talented students.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2022 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the highest 50,000 scorers of more than 1.5 million students (top 3 percent) who entered the 2022 competition by taking the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT).
