W+H Model UN In-House Conference Winners Recognized

The leaders of the W+H Model UN team honored the most accomplished delegates from the recent in-house conference, WHMUN, at this week’s Monday meeting. The two-day event included Upper School students representing their countries on a wide range of topics, from food insecurity in armed conflicts to the Sudan Crisis.

Model UN co-presidents Natalie Chen ’26 and Chiara Baldi ’26 spoke about the conference and presented certificates to the following students:

Day One – focusing on food insecurity in armed conflicts:

Best Delegate: Aava Joshi ’27 (United States of America)
Outstanding Delegate: Aarav Brahmbhatt ’28 (Russian Federation)
Honorable Mentions: Aron Zhong ’27 (China) and Aanya Chaturvedi ’29 (Colombia)
Verbal Commendations: Emma Wang ‘27 (Saudi Arabia) and Anya Gupta ’27  (Yemen)

Day Two – focusing on the Sudan Crisis:

Best Delegate: Tanisi Sahai ’28 (Sudan)
Outstanding Delegate: Sofia Vidal ’29 (Russian Federation)
