Wardlaw+Hartridge students participated in an in-house Model UN Conference with two separate sessions last week in the Oakwood Room.
The first session, titled Freedom of Expression in Authoritarian Regimes, ran on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Model UN officers Adam Eisdorfer ’25, Oliver Laskow ’25 and Cian Nicholls ’25 presided over the opening event, which allowed the younger members of the club to hone their presentation skills as delegates.
Students were recognized for their achievements on the first day of the conference at this week’s Upper School Monday meeting. Cameron Williams ’27, who represented the United States of America, earned Best Delegate honors, while Elana Nieporent ’27, who represented The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, received Outstanding Delegate recognition. Honorable mention awards were presented to Joy Patel ’28, Julia Marin ’28 and Duaa Noor ’28.
