Upper School Students Entertain at Memorable Cookin’ Cabaret

Rudy Brandl

There’s nothing like live entertainment and our Upper School students provided it at last Thursday’s 12th annual Cookin’ Cabaret. A limited audience of students, parents, faculty and staff enjoyed 90 minutes of performances including poetry, vocals, instrumentals and dance.

This was a special evening indeed, as it marked the first time since 2010 the Cookin’ Cabaret was held outdoors and the first live performance of any kind at W+H in more than a year. It was particularly bittersweet for senior performers Simone Erachshaw ’21, Leila Hernandez-Webster ’21, Nicolas Hernandez-Webster ’21, Brian Machado ’21, John Papetti III ’21 and Neil Shah ’21, who shared their memories with the audience prior to their final performances as W+H students.
