Tommy O’Connor ’25 and Adam Eisdorfer ’25 led the W+H track athletes to a golden weekend at the Non-Public B State Championships. Both speedsters captured individual gold medals and joined teammates Cian Nicholls ’25 and Sevastian Castillo ’26 on a winning relay team to propel the Rams to a fourth place team finish in the state.
Tommy sprinted to victory in the 200 (22.89) and Adam prevailed in the 400 (50.58). They joined Cian and Sevastian in the 4x800, which rolled to the title by more than eight seconds in a time of 8:46.74.
Medal winners for the W+H girls included Jayla Presley '26 in the 400 hurdles (4th, 1:11.83), Naomi Craig '25 in the 400 meters (6th, 1:01.98) and the 4x400 relay team of Ashlynn Harris '28, Jolie Paton '28, Jayla and Naomi, who set a personal record (4:18.72) to finish third.
