Third grade students in the classes of Ms. Katherine Heiss and Mrs. Donna Pedde recited their speeches in the classrooms for an audience of parents, teachers and friends on May 24. The students selected Inspiring Americans and shared biographical information and fun facts about their famous figures. Subjects included Grace Hopper, Thomas Edison, Walt Disney, Mae Jemison, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Steve Jobs, Barack Obama and Helen Keller.
