Students Participate in Teen Hunger Summit

Nineteen Upper School students participated in the Teen Hunger Summit, a virtual event run by The Community Food Bank of New Jersey on Dec. 9.

This year’s event featured breakout workshops with community leaders, a group student teach-back, keynote speakers and a fundraising service project. Students learned about social justice issues related to hunger and community organizations that fight hunger and poverty. They also gained insight on how to make a difference in their communities.
