Prospective Families Attend Admission Information Session

The Admission Office was pleased to welcome 35 prospective families across all three divisions to its first in-person Information Session in almost two years on October 16. Gerard Gonnella, Director of Admission and Financial Aid, welcomed the guests during the introductions in the amphitheater. Dr. Corinna Crafton, Associate Head of School, provided opening remarks and a brief overview of the school's academic program.

Sharon Byrne, Performing Arts Department Chair, introduced student performers Joanne Ding ’24 (flute) and Anting Luo ’22 (guitar/vocal) and added a brief description of the performing arts program. Student ambassadors from the Middle and Upper school divisions and Lower School junior ambassadors escorted student visitors to various activities, while parents attended presentations for Lower School with division head JohnEric Advento in the amphitheater, Middle school with division head Jennifer Rose in the Berry Performing Arts Center, and Upper School with division head Bob Bowman in the Center for Global Learning.

After parents and students received more information about the various divisional offerings and student experience, they concluded the session with divisional tours of the campus, led by Ana De León, Associate Director of Admission, and the division heads.
