Wardlaw+Hartridge is continuing its successful Project Plainfield After School Program with virtual sessions this fall. W+H students will begin working with students at two Plainfield Partner Schools, Barlow and Washington, who need support. The schedule will be a little more flexible this year as it will be based on student availability throughout the day and early evening. Since there is no transportation involved, students can work with the Plainfield youngsters and earn their service hours at times that are mutually convenient.
There are two specific needs as this year’s program begins: Barlow Elementary needs a Spanish speaking student to work with a Kindergartener and any W+H student who speaks Arabic will be useful in working with that growing community in Plainfield.
Students interested in participating in Project Plainfield Virtual Tutoring should contact Mrs. Nicole Nolan, Director of Global Scholars and Community Outreach, at nnolan@WHschool.org.
“I am very excited that we can continue this wonderful partnership with our friends in Plainfield,” Mrs. Nolan said.
