Rudy Brandl

Three members of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS) team visited the W+H campus as part of the five-year accreditation process on November 14. George Sanderson (Partner, Educators Collaborative), Hillary Nastro (Director of Enrollment Management, Stuart Country Day School) and Sam Goldfischer (CFO, Newark Academy) met with administrators, faculty, students, parents, trustees and alumni during a daylong visit to learn more about the school.

Dr. Corinna Crafton, Head of School, joined the W+H Accreditation team in welcoming the NJAIS team as they arrived for the day. The Accreditation Team, led by Marc Spivak (Director of Technology and Campus Safety), also includes Yasmyn Callender (Executive Assistant to the Head of School), Christine Cerminaro (Assistant Upper School Head, Dean of Students), Laura Huffman (Early Childhood Coordinator, Junior Kindergarten Teacher), Jen Molloy (Second Grade Teacher), Kirstin Rogers (Middle School Head) and Katie Vetland ’02 (Development Assistant).

The NJAIS representatives met with members of the W+H Leadership Team, parents and trustees in the morning and administrators, students, faculty and alumni in the afternoon before wrapping up the day with Dr. Crafton. The visit marked the second step in the five-year accreditation process, which began with the school submitting a five-year report that included an update on the school's state, progress on recommendations from the Decennial Report, and a response to the current NJAIS Standards for Accreditation.
