The Admission Office hosted the annual New Parent Reception on a beautiful early autumn evening in the amphitheater on September 30. Parents from all three divisions mingled with each other along with parent ambassadors, Head of School Dr. Corinna Crafton, and other school administrators. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet of appetizers prepared by Sage Dining Services.
Mr. Gerard Gonnella ’89, Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid, welcomed the guests and expressed his appreciation to the new W+H parents for entrusting their children’s education with the school. Mrs. Sharon Byrne, Performing Arts Department Chair, shared her positive experiences as a longtime parent and faculty member in the W+H community. She introduced two outstanding student performances: a vocal by Ishani Shah ’26, who sang From the Start as recorded by Laufey, and an instrumental duet of Georg Philipp Telemann’s Sonata in G Major featuring Kimberly Zhang ’27 (flute) and Cameron Williams ’27 (piano).
