Congratulations to the cast and crew of Matilda, JR. for an exciting, entertaining and successful weekend run of musical performances in the Berry Performing Arts Center. After thrilling a student-only audience on Friday afternoon, Nov. 21, the Middle School students staged three more performances in the next 24 hours and received rave reviews.
Aanvi Shrestha ’32 and Riya Chaturvedi ’32 shared the lead role of Matilda, each playing that part in two performances. Other leading players included Lexington Donahue ’30, Samay Jain ’31, Sasha Buezo ’30, Sanaya Joshi ’32, Riyan Nihalani ’31, Melanie Diaz ’30, Shiv Bhardwaj ’31, Grace Gonnella ’31, Xavier Gehl ’32, Alizeh Nazir ’31 and Tessa Gehl ’30. More than half of the Middle School student body participated as a cast or crew member in this memorable production.
