
A group of students in grades 6-8 came together with Mrs. Kirstin Rogers, Middle School Head, after school to participate in community service to support children in need. They spent an afternoon creating fleece blankets for the Child Life Department at St. Peter’s University Hospital. The students worked together to create six blankets to provide comfort to children facing extended hospital stays. Students who participated were: Mysha Pandit ’32, Chanel Brazoban ’32, Marla Pressman ’32, Akira Vijay ’32, Aanvi Shrestha ’32, Shiva Attoti ’32, Shrey Amin ’31, Kaleb Porter ’31, Austin Li ’31, Advik Singh ’31, Adithya Raj ’31, Tessa Gehl ’30, Sanaya Joshi ’30, Lexington Donahue ’30, Michael Zhang ’30, Jaxson Simeonidis ’30 and Jeremiah Simeonidis ’30.
This initiative was made possible through fundraising efforts by the Middle School’s Student Government Association. More service activities are planned for the spring.
