The Middle School girls capped an amazing cross country season with an impressive third-place team finish in the Middlesex County Cross Country Championships. After completing the regular season with a 12-2 record, the W+H girls faced the challenge of racing against a county loaded with larger schools. They tied a program record for best team finish in a county meet and went home with a giant trophy.
Lexington Donahue ’30 led the way by finishing fourth overall and teammates Shaina Patel ’30 and Mimi Meola ’29 placed 13th and 25th, respectively, to give the Rams three runners in the top 25. Julia Gonnella ’29, Leah Alves ’29, Grace Gonnella ’31 and Sanjana Bhardwaj ’31 also raced well for the Rams.
