Middle School Electives Program Begins

The Middle School kicked off its 2020-2021 elective program on Monday, Oct. 5. This year's program, which includes 10 interesting extracurricular options, will take place on Monday afternoons and run for the entire school year.

This year's elective lineup includes the return of the popular Student Government and Publications group with faculty advisor Kirstin Rogers. Members of Student Government lead the division through planning full division activities including service learning, fundraising, Full Division meetings, as well as writing and publishing the divisional newspaper, The Typewriter, and literary magazine, The Hyphen.

Other electives include STEM with Andrea Barnett, Robotics with Noreen Jafri, Chess with Esther Faus, Art Appreciation with Tanda Tucker, Film and Cinema with Ian McElroy, K-Pop Dance with Thomas Chavez, Scrapbook Making with Erika Jacob, Fun and Fitness with Lee Nicholls and National Geography Bee and Academic Quiz Tournament with Corinna Crafton.
