Students in Pre-K(3) through Grade 5 embraced the theme and celebrated the Winter Break with enthusiasm and smiles at the Lower School Winter Concert on Dec. 20 in the Berry Performing Arts Center.
The Pre-Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten students opened the show and set the tone with three tunes. Later, combinations of Grades K-1, 2-3 and 4-5 performed, all under the direction of Shannon Sari, Lower School music teacher. The Fourth Grade Band and Fifth Grade Band each performed two songs, conducted by band director Tim Burke. Vocal highlights of the show included Better Bundle Up by Grades 2-3, Let’s Go Sledding by K-1, Fly Away Home by Grades 4-5 and the Combined Finale of If I Were a Fish.
