The annual Senior Buddies Ceremony highlighted last Friday’s Lower School assembly in the Berry Performing Arts Center. Members of the Class of 2026 met their new Lower School friends in one of the school’s wonderful traditions celebrating connection.
Natalie Chen ’26, Student Council president, introduced lifer Hannah Torres ’26, who shared reflections of her fondest Lower School memories. She recalled experiences in the classrooms of many teachers who are still guiding our youngest learners with stories that resonated with the current Lower School students.
All Lower School classes from PreK(3) through Grade 5 were called to the stage to meet their senior buddies and pose for a photo. The Lower School students returned to their classrooms to enjoy activities and snacks with their new Upper School friends. They distributed certificates to the seniors to commemorate their new connections.
