Lower School Students Learn More About Climate Change

Rudy Brandl

Third grade students have been discussing the Great Barrier Reef and the challenges it is facing with climate change as well as a host of other issues caused by careless human activity. Last week, Lillian Engelhard, a marine biologist from Seakeepers in Florida, shared her expertise with the students, who were joined by the second grade class for the Zoom presentation. Ms. Engelhard was excited to share ways humans can help protect the oceans and create a more sustainable planet.
