One of Wardlaw+Hartridge’s most beloved traditions continues to be Lower School Field Day, and the 2026 edition did not disappoint. Students in PreK(3)-Grade 5 spent two hours enjoying friendly but spirited competition with their classmates in a series of events wonderfully set up by the Physical Education Department.
Alicia Seemuller, Physical Education Department Chair, welcomed the students, teachers and parents to the festivities. Field Day Grand Marshal Haniya Noor ‘37 declared the games underway. Rammy the school mascot made appearances at various stations throughout the morning.
Teachers and students assisted at various event stations, including Animal Rescue, Water Relay, Dash/Relay, Kid Car Wash, Treasure Island, Jump River/Limbo, Field Day Hats, Fun Friday, Golf, and Music Dance. The event ended with a cheer in Spanish by the fifth grade students and the traditional giant group photo with all community members gathering around the Field Day tent.
