Students, parents, faculty and friends enjoyed perfect weather conditions for one of the great W+H traditions – Lower School Field Day – on May 26. Students arrived on the turf fields with great anticipation for a fun-filled morning of friendly competition with their classmates and friends. Parents watched and cheered as the students ran races, jumped the river, hit lacrosse targets, competed in sack races and navigated the egg and spoon race. Under the direction of Mr. Lee Nicholls, Physical Education Department Chair, the event ran smoothly as always. The PE staff and a host of student volunteers assisted in running the day’s events.
