Gratitude was in the air and on the stage during last week’s Lower School assembly in the Berry Performing Arts Center. After an introduction by honor guards Remy Sharma ’33, Katelyn Seagle ’33, Max Pressman ’33 and Kenzie Paton ’33, Lower School STEM teacher Kelly Coleman ’98 introduced a gratitude presentation that included a video book and a second grade performance.
Mrs. Coleman shared a reading of The Gratitude Jar and encouraged the Lower School community to create their own gratitude jars reflecting things for which they are thankful. She then invited the second grade class to the stage to share things for which they are grateful while holding up the giant gratitude chain they created in STEM class.
