Arts
PERFORMING & VISUAL ARTS
Wardlaw+Hartridge offers a robust Performing Arts program including general music, band, choir, theatrical plays and musicals, private music lessons and dance. In the Visual Arts, our students work with skilled, experienced faculty members in dedicated art spaces to develop their talents and explore their creativity.

Kindness on Display at Lower School Assembly

Kindness always has a presence at the Lower School’s weekly assemblies, but last Friday’s emphasized it more with a special presentation in the Berry Performing Arts Center. Shannon Sari, Lower School music teacher, shared a video from Steve Hartman of CBS News which featured a community that learned sign language so they could communicate with a deaf 2-year-old girl. She then asked the students to provide recent examples of their own acts of kindness and the replies amplified the importance and prevalence of kindness in the Lower School.
