
Students, parents, faculty, alumni and friends enjoyed a fabulous weekend of entertainment at the Upper School musical production of High School Musical. The combination of relatable characters, familiar songs and energetic dances produced three wonderful performances in the Berry Performing Arts Center.
Starring roles were played by Mackias Ysaac ’26 as Troy Bolton, Giannalise Rodriguez ’26 as Gabriella Montez, Devin Virdi ’28 as Ryan Evans and Nitya Sahni ’26 as Sharpay Evans. Other leading players included Ethan Pierre ’26, Emily O’Neill ’27, Richard Zhang ’26, Saadia St. Victor ’27, Brit Gehl ’28, Mohisha Jha ’26, Anousheh Nazir ’27, Ishani Shah ’26 and Severian Ekong-Reid ’27.
Fifty-six Upper School students participated in this production, including a crew that was led by Neela Bandla ’27 (Production Stage Manager), Margot McCarty ’27 (Lighting Design) and Arya Gaur ’26 (Assistant Sound Design/Mix Engineer).
Congratulations to director Becky Randazzo, co-producers Lauren Barchi and Sharon Byrne, Berry PAC manager Alex Nappi and crew manager Liz Stillman for leading a talented production team in this successful production. Mrs. Byrne also served as the music director conducting the musicians in the pit.
