In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, first graders spent part of their Tuesday morning creating leprechaun traps, hoping to catch the holiday icon. Students used a variety of materials in the project, including green construction paper and gold coins to embrace the spirit of the day. The first graders called it “chaos” with items spread all over the classroom as they worked, but they took pride in their creations and finished the project by cleaning up.
