Fifth grade music students shared presentations about musicians who had been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Lower Snowdon on June 2. Each student selected an artist, conducted research and used the information they gathered to create a visual aid and oral presentation. Artists featured included the Rolling Stones, Isley Brothers, Queen, Whitney Houston and Earth, Wind & Fire.
This is the third year that fifth grade students have undertaken this research project in music class, and the second time it was presented for parents, teachers and other students in this format. Being able to dress as their artist or in the fashions from their era really brought this project to life for the students and their audience.
