W+H faculty and staff members who reached milestones in years of service were honored at the annual Faculty and Staff Appreciation Dinner, sponsored by the Board of Trustees, on May 29 in the AP Room. Kindergarten teacher Jennifer Geissler and athletic director Mike Romeo received 25-year pins, while four colleagues were recognized for 10 years of service: Dr. Bob Bowman (Upper School Head), Justine Borzumato (Upper School Biology Teacher and Senior Class Dean), Erin Maciorowski (Associate Director of Technology) and Nick Pelullo (Upper School Latin Teacher and World Language Department Chair).
The event also included remarks of gratitude from Dr. Corinna Crafton, Head of School, and Dr. Ayesha Sitlani, Board of Trustees President. Leaford Thompson, Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, added brief remarks on behalf of Giovanni Firetto, who recently retired after many years of dedicated service to the maintenance team.
