Director of College Counseling, Sarah Honan, and Associate Director of College Counseling, Alayne Birnhak, just returned from a week in Los Angeles, where they explored potential good-fit college options for W+H students and participated in this year's National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) Conference.
Collectively, they toured 11 campuses: The Claremont Colleges (i.e., Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, Pomona, and Scripps); Loyola Marymount University; Occidental College; Orange Coast College; University Of California, Irvine; University Of California, Los Angeles; and University Of Southern California.
Ms. Honan and Ms. Birnhak attended timely conference sessions related to the application process and the higher education landscape and also networked with fellow admissions and counseling professionals. This trip was made possible, in part, because of a generous grant from the W+H Parents’ Association.
