The Class of 2026 began this year’s Senior Speech series with two impressive performances in the Berry Performing Arts Center on October 7. All 60 members of the senior class will deliver speeches as part of their graduation requirement during this school year.

Natalie Chen ’26 encouraged her peers to avoid stress by finding joy and doing things that make them happy. She shared some of the things that bring her joy, including TV, crocheting, going to the Asian market, hanging out with friends, dancing and spending time with her sister.

Chiara Baldi ’26 expressed her fear of forgetting and shared the many ways in which she has tried to preserve memories. She’s feeling the weight of nostalgia even more these days as she heads toward uncertainty in the future, but assured her peers that “memory is not only a record of what was, but a compass guiding what will be.”
