The Wardlaw+Hartridge School held its 138th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, June 18 on the front field.
The Class of 2021 marched in to an ovation from the W+H community of parents, families, faculty, trustees and friends. The program began with the Star-Spangled Banner and a welcome from Dr. Bob Bowman, Head of Upper School.
Class president Neil Shah '21 represented his class with a wonderful speech during which he saluted his classmates, thanked W+H teachers and reflected on many memories and experiences at the school. Andrew Webster, Head of School, delivered his Charge to the Class of 2021 and Ayesha Sitlani, Board of Trustees President, provided greetings and best wishes during her remarks that focused on the importance of collaboration.
The 65 graduates received their diplomas after Chris Teare, Director of College Counseling, announced their names. They were greeted by Mr. Webster, Dr. Bowman and Dr. Sitlani and after all graduates received their diplomas, they cheered and tossed their caps in the air with jubilation.
Congratulations to the Class of 2021, who are headed to many of the nation's finest colleges and universities!
