About W+H
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School academic program prepares students to learn with engagement and awe, to imagine with wonderment, to persist through challenges, to pose questions and answers, to communicate clearly, and to listen fully. Through our program of study, we prepare students to be Pioneering. Thinkers.

ATHLETICS
While much has changed in the way sports are played, many of the strengths of our athletic program are the same as they were in 1882.
Our students, even those who are committed to playing sports in college, play sports for the same reasons as those turn-of-the-century athletes did. They play because they love the sport, and enjoy the camaraderie of teammates.
We work hard to live our mission, making athletics a meaningful piece of a W+H education.
ARTS
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School believes the arts teach students a kind of self-knowledge they could not get in any other way.
Visual and performing arts opportunities are integrated into each division, with several specialized electives accessible to Wardlaw + Hartridge Upper School students who are looking to develop their talents and explore their creativity.
The arts are a key part of every student's W+H experience.
Pioneering. Thinkers.
