Fall Fair and Homecoming
Welcome to the 2017 Fall Fair and Homecoming Page! Here you will find information about events for all members of the Wardlaw + Hartridge community - students, parents, alumni, faculty and friends.
This year's big event, which is run by the Wardlaw + Hartridge Parents' Association in conjunction with the Alumni and Development Office, will be held on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with alumni events and class reunions extending well into the evening.
Fall Fair and Homecoming Day includes carnival games, just like those found on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore, as well as a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, rock climbing wall, pony rides, a petting zoo and many student run events. A wonderful array of vendors and boutiques will sell a wide variety of items including jewelry, clothing, toys and so much more. A 50/50 Super Raffle and Gift Basket Raffle will run throughout the day with the winners drawn at the end of the event. Many food options will be available. The Booster Club will host its popular luncheon complete with hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs, sausage, chicken and pulled pork. The school’s Oakwood Room will be transformed into an Indoor Café for a casual sit down lunch. Home-baked goods will be offered at the Fall Fair Bakery and the coffee station will be complete with coffee, tea, bagels and donuts.
For more information about Fall Fair activities, contact Kevin Kornecki, WHPA Fall Fair event chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Wardlaw + Hartridge Rams athletic teams will compete in soccer, volleyball and tennis matches throughout the day. A schedule of W+H athletic events will be published in September.
Alumni are encouraged to visit the Alumni Tent near the back athletic fields to reconnect with old friends and classmates, peruse yearbooks, update contact information and share stories for inclusion in the Class Notes of our publications.
Milestone reunion classes will be on campus to celebrate the anniversaries of their high school graduations. Alumni, parents and friends are invited to participate in the annual Alumni Soccer Game at 1 p.m. All alumni are invited to attend the Alumni Awards Ceremony and Reception at 4 p.m. in the new Berry Performing Arts Center.
