Posted 02/16/2017 02:29PM

The Middle School continued its community service program by volunteering at The Community Food Bank of New Jersey in Hillside on Feb. 11. Students and their families stocked shelves, organized supplies and prepared food packages at the warehouse.

The mission of the CFBNJ is to "fill the emptiness caused by hunger with food, help, and hope" and to work as a "powerful change agent that fills the emptiness caused by hunger with the basic human essentials that people need to survive."

Students who volunteered, along with members of their families, included Michele Peruzzo '21, Justyn Niemczyk '21, Henry Bowman '21, Caroline Kolmodin '21, Nate Kolmodin '20, Kunal Patel '22, Ravi Nanavati '23, Scott Greaney '21, Shaan Jasti '21, Nicholas Ji '22 and Sydney Racine '23.

The Middle School will volunteer at The Community Food Bank of New Jersey again on April 1. If you are interested in joining the effort, please contact Linda Kraynik in the Middle School Office at lkraynik@whschool.org.
