Thursday, April 15
- Upper School Science Fair at 6 p.m. in the AP Room

- College Trip for 10th Graders to The College of New Jersey in Trenton from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. as part of the college guidance curriculum. The students will be accompanied by Susan Swenson (Director of College Counseling) and Dawn Francavilla (Director of Student Life).

- Erwin Ganz, the grandfather of Noah Ganz '13, will visit Wardlaw-Hartridge from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. to speak to Middle and Upper School students about his life as a 9-year-old during the time of Kristallnacht and the 1938 pogroms. Parents are invited to attend. Wardlaw-Hartridge Upper School Students Travel to Altair, Spain Over Spring Break; Altair Students Visit W-H

During spring vacation, 14 Upper School students traveled to Spain to visit with students at The Altair Colegio Internacional in Madrid. Directly thereafter, Wardlaw-Hartridge families opened their homes to 18 students from Altair. The exchange program, which began approximately 11 years ago, has always enriched the lives of the students from both schools, fostering an appreciation for different cultures and traditions. 
Two Guest Speakers Inform WHPA About Identity Theft Prevention During Latest Hot Topics Forum

Members of the Wardlaw-Hartridge Parents' Association (WHPA) were armed with valuable knowledge about preventing identity theft after learning from two guest speakers at the Hot Topics Forum on April 8. The presentation was organized by Terry Lyons, WHPA First Vice-President.

Senior Italian Night/Auction This Saturday! Exciting Auction Items Available!

The annual Senior Class Italian Night/Auction will be held this Saturday, April 24, at 6 p.m. in the AP Room! Italian Night consists of a wonderful Italian dinner followed by an auction led by Roland Marionni, Upper School chemistry teacher.

Wardlaw-Hartridge Girls Shine at Prep Relays at Lawrenceville


On April 7 at The Lawrenceville School, the Wardlaw-Hartridge quartet of Jeanine Gill '12, Katie Buchbinder '13, Nina Pangan '13 and Samantha Barbeito '11 won their section of the 4x400 meter relay by the length of a soccer field, placing 3rd overall in the event with a time of 4.37. Jeanine opened up a large lead on the first lap and Katie added to it. Nina maintained the wide margin and Samantha brought it home to secure the win.
