Celebrating Years of Service: Joseph C. Bonk and Edward L. Samek

On June 5, The Wardlaw-Hartridge School celebrated its 126th Commencement.  One of the highlights of the day was honoring two distinguished individuals for their many years of service to the school.  Edward L. Samek served the school for 38 years, first as the chair of the Hartridge School and then as a member of the board of trustees of the Wardlaw-Hartridge School.  Joseph C. Bonk served for 18 years and also served as chairman of The Wardlaw-Hartridge School.  At Commencement, both men were awarded honorary degrees.

Following the graduation exercises, a reception was held in their  honor in the Oakwood Room.  Several members of the board of trustees, emeritus trustees and special guests came to join the celebration.
