Attention Parents! Please Complete Satisfaction Surveys

We want to hear your voice - and give you free Dunkin' Donuts!

The 2011-2012 Parent Satisfaction Survey is now open. Please check your email inbox and fill out the survey, which many people report takes less than 15 minutes. With over 70 percent of families responding to the first survey last year, it provided a deep and broad view of the school’s strengths and also its areas of opportunity. This feedback enhanced the board, administration, and faculty’s knowledge of the school community and has already influenced its direction.

Anastasia Bellisari '15 Takes Over Upper School as Head for the Day

Anastasia Bellisari '15 declared a dress down day filled with fun and games during her stint as Upper School Head for the Day on Friday, May 11.

Ms. Bellisari began her day taking over for Mrs. Rhona Eserner, the real Upper School Head, by making an announcement at morning meeting during which she informed her peers of some special events for the day. She called for an extended lunch period that included some wild and wacky games in the AP Room.

Students cheered wildly as their classmates attempted to stack dice on a popsicle stick and place three golf balls on top of each other. The longer lunch also created a shorter afternoon slate of classes for the Upper School students.

Peru Crew Raising Funds with Helping Tree

This summer, 16 Wardlaw-Hartridge students (The Peru Crew) will be traveling to Peru with the World Leadership School in an effort to understand global issues that must be solved or substantially mitigated within our lifetime.

They will be learning about these issues as they volunteer to help build an Early Childhood Center in the village of Bandolista, Peru. Helping to provide a place for young children to begin their education is just one step toward helping to solve many of our global problems.
