WHPA Gala Ad Journal Deadline Extended!

Thank you to all of parents and families who have placed an ad in this year's Spring Gala Ad Journal. We have had a strong response but are still in need of a few more ads, notes or messages. This year, the Gala proceeds will be directed toward improving the school's performing arts facilities.

Placing an ad is truly an inexpensive way to not only promote a business, but also a great way to contribute to our school. If you have a local business you frequent, own your own business or practice, or know someone who would be happy to advertise - please let them know we have extended the deadline and would appreciate their support.

Each contributor receives a copy of the ad journal and each attendee receives a copy, so the ad will be seen by hundreds of potential customers. Most importantly, all the money raised benefits our children's education and the performing arts department.

Please send your ad or questions to Kevin Kornecki at kkornecki@comcast.net. Thank you!

More Lacrosse Clinics Set for April

Following the very successful lacrosse clinic in February, The Wardlaw-Hartridge School will be fully sponsoring two additional lacrosse related activities:

On Friday, April 13, 20 and 27: After-school outdoor lacrosse clinics from 4:30-5:30 p.m. We will re-introduce the fundamental skills and begin to let the students experience very basic and limited game play.

On Saturday, April 28: A field trip to Princeton University to watch the Princeton-Cornell lacrosse game.

All the lacrosse clinics will be led by Jason Pressman, father of Max Pressman (W-H Junior-K), and staffed by experienced lacrosse instructors. Mr. Pressman, an attorney, played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University and has coached professionally, at the high-school level, and with youth recreational leagues for many years.
