HOPE FOR HAITI FLEA MARKET SET FEBRUARY 6

The Wardlaw-Hartridge School will hold a "Hope For Haiti Flea Market" on Saturday, February 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the AP Room. All proceeds from the event will go to Direct Relief International, which aids the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Donations for the flea market are needed. HELPING HAITI TOGETHER T-SHIRTS TO BE SOLD NEXT WEEK!

T-shirts with the "Helping Haiti Together" logo will be sold on Tuesday, February 2, and Thursday, February 4 during lunch periods for $8 per shirt. Please be sure to bring in exact change to purchase the t-shirts. All proceeds will go to Direct Relief International (www.directrelief.org).
Anuva Goel '17 Interviews Director of the U.S. Census Bureau

For fifth grader, Anuva Goel '17, the morning of Friday, January 22, was filled with anticipation and curiosity as she prepared to interview Dr. Robert Groves, Director of the U.S. Census Bureau for the February 19, 2010 edition of The Weekly Reader.

Lower School Family Night will present an evening of special activities and projects based on the theme, "Golden Ways to Go Green" on Thursday, February 4, in the AP Room beginning at 6:30 p.m. We hope you will join us for these exciting presentations! The schedule of activities follows:

International Family Fun Night Offered Array of Cultural Activities

The Wardlaw-Hartridge Parents' Association held one of its most popular events on the evening of Friday, January 22: International Family Fun Night. The evening was organized by Bonnie Nolan, the mother of Jimmy '12 and Billy '13, as well as other WHPA members.

Lower School Students Offer Array of Performances During Lunchtime Cabaret

Shannon Caldwell, Lower School music teacher, organized a variety of special performances by students in the fourth and fifth grades, and they were presented during lunchtime on January 27 at the Lower School Cabaret.

College Corner is a feature in which lesser known, yet highly competitive colleges and universities will be discussed. A new school will be profiled every two weeks to assist students with their search for a good college match.
