The Parents' Association Announces First 'Hot Topics' Presentation of the Year
The Parents' Association will host its first "Hot Topics" presentation of the year on Thursday, November 6, in the Oakwood Room after its 8:15 a.m. meeting. The topic, "Discovering Nutritional Balance Every Day," will be led by Mindy Szeto, a Certified Health Counselor (CHC) and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
Find balance through new ways of thinking about nutrition, lifestyle and personal growth. Learn to tune into your body's needs to experience increased energy and vitality. Examine how appropriate food, activity, and life choices can sustain energy levels, stabilize moods and increase productivity. Ms. Szeto has a passion for guiding women and families to obtain vibrant, healthy lifestyles. She works with families to become "wellness aware" and find lifestyle choices that work best for them. She is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition affiliated with Columbia University Teachers College and accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
